CompleteLee is a family
company, founded by Kevin Lee Connole and Marika Lee
Connole.
Where did you get a name like CompleteLee?
In trying to come up with a name for our company, we
needed a word that encompasses everything we do and who
we are. We took our middle names, Lee & Lee and
tried out lots and lots of words that could possibly be
added to Lee. We decided we liked the word
complete for a variety of reasons. Complete means
whole or entire, so that could include all that we do.
Complete also describes what we are as a family.
Without one of us, we are incomplete. Our family
is the most important thing in this world to us.
What DO you do? That is a
difficult question to answer! All together, we do
a lot of things. We try to pool our talents and
share them with you. As you browse around our
website, you'll get to know us better. Our main
products are in sports and music where we take a unique
approach to those subjects.
What is your mission statement?
Who is Kevin Lee? Kevin
is a Montanan by birth. He has a great love of the
outdoors, having grown up hunting and fishing in the
nearby mountains and streams.
With his family, including many cousins, Kevin enjoyed many
get-togethers, whether camping or watching each other's sporting
events. Kevin was able to participate in many sports throughout
his school years, including baseball, football, track and field
events, and basketball.
If ever anyone is needed to entertain at events, family or otherwise,
Kevin can be found willing to imitate the voices of cartoon characters,
break dance, or do most anything to get people to crack a smile
or to quiet down a bunch of little ones.
After serving a 2 year mission to Korea, Kevin attended BYU
where he vowed not to be married within one year of his return home,
as so many missionaries do. Nine months later, he and Marika
were married. When Kevin graduated, he was a father of two.
Kevin's love of golf eventually led him back to school,
this time to pursue a career in the golf industry. He is
currently an independent golf professional. He spends his time teaching lessons and clinics, playing in tournaments, running his BackYard
Golf business, promoting junior golf through various avenues, and
offering golf and other sports to a local virtual academy (see
www.completeleesports.com) As a golf pro, Kevin writes a monthly
article for the local newspaper, offering tips and interesting
tidbits about the game of golf. Kevin is a member of the PGA of
America.
Who is Marika Lee?
Marika was born in Berlin, Germany to a
Swedish mother and American father. She is fairly
fluent in Swedish and has studied German as well.
Marika is a mother of 7, most of whom she schools at
home. She loves to cook, read and learn about
things, weaving, and loves the challenge of creating
something out of nothing.
She has a love of nutrition, having studied a lot over
the years and having grown up working in a health food
store. She has also written a book about
childbirth, hoping to help those who have not had
wonderful experiences with birth.
A few years ago, Marika started composing music in an
unusual way. The Stake Relief Society (Women's
organization at church) challenged all the ladies to set
some goals. On of the suggestions was to write a
poem or song about your favorite gospel topic.
Marika decided to take them up on their challenge even
though she had never composed a song before. She
had taken piano lessons since she was 4 years old.
She also participated in high school and college choirs,
but this was uncharted territory. She wrote that
first song in about half an hour. The song touched
the hearts of family and friends. Since then,
Marika has composed and arranged hundreds of songs.
Her songs come in many different styles, including hymn
arrangements, children's songs, ballads, educational and
even some silly songs.
