Welcome to our group! We hope everyone will pitch in
and make the group a lot of fun for everyone!
This group meets frequently for fun outings with other home
educated teenagers. We currently have members from ages 13 to 17. By
joining the group, you will receive emails inviting you to join group events.
The events may be sponsored by our family or yours. We would like to
request that each teen plan at least one activity to share with the group during
the year.
So, please be thinking of a fun activity that you would
like to do sometime this year. Plan
it. Mark it on your calendar.
Then, invite the group by emailing me at
homeschool@completelee.com when
you have an event ready to host. (If
you host the event, all children in your family can participate regardless of
age.)

When I receive event information from you, I will send it
out to the whole group. Doing things
this way, we might have two events in one week and then nothing for three weeks.
We won’t have outings on a regular, set schedule.
So, you'll be able to make it to some outings and possibly not to others. If
you can make it, great! If not,
there’s sure to be another event coming up soon.
You don’t need to do anything fancy.
If you know you are going to the movies in a few days and want some
company, send me an email and I’ll let the others know.
You don’t have to plan it out months in advance.
I am willing to send out a heads up notice for things that just have a
short notice.
Please feel free to give me your input.
Hopefully we will get a lot of different fun activities going in this,
our second year and be able to get to know each other well.
We use a web-based group contact service to make sure that
everyone receives the emails and to insure your privacy. If you don’t want
to belong to the group anymore, you will always be able to easily unsubscribe at
the bottom of each email by clicking on the manage your subscription link.
If you would like to be updated on everything of a homeschool nature (articles,
tips, sports, etc.), you can subscribe to those as well. There is no
obligation to do so.
