My sister wanted a song her sons and husband could sing at church.  I started brainstorming ideas.  I thought about combining a Primary song with the hymn, "Called to Serve".  I had just finished filling the van with gasoline and was headed to the grocery store when a little tune popped into my head.  It was one that I knew I needed to jot down so that I would remember it.  At the next red light, I wrote down a few key notes and phrases on the back of my gasoline receipt.  Then I kept hoping, as I drove, for more red lights so I could continue to write!  After I got home, the rest of the little song fell easily to the paper.  Now I just wish I could hear them sing it.  :)
