(See John 6:35) Many scoffed at the thought of Jesus being anyone special. They thought He was just the carpenter’s son. As He grew, He learned a bit at a time, just like we do. He probably got a fair share of bumps and bangs climbing trees, playing in the rocks and other things just as we do. Yet He was the Son of God. He has told us to be like Him. We should let our light shine even if people mock and laugh as they did to Him, questioning, “Is not this Jesus, son of Joseph?…”. |
